Bob climbs the Beanstalk at Bingo on the Box

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

I know, I know…everyone knows that it was Jack who climbed the Beanstalk and not Bob. But at Bingo on the Box the fairytale is a little different. This is a relatively new online bingo site that sees the cute little Bingo on the Box mascot, “Bob” climbing from leaf to leaf up a giant beanstalk till he reaches the top.

As Bob finds his way up the beanstalk, helped by all the new members joining the site; he lands on a leaf, every time the next 500th member signs up and they win a prize. As one of the top online bingo promotions it has been underway for a while now, and already some fantastic prizes have been given away.  The ultimate prize is won by the 5,000th player signing up and this is a Fiat 500, together with insurance for a year. On the way up the beanstalk however there are still a few really worthwhile prizes left, and I would suggest you get to this online bingo site and register fairly quickly, as things happen fast online.

Some of the prizes still up for grabs the last time I checked were a £2000 habitat voucher, a family holiday for a week in the Disneyland Paris resort, a stay in a London five star hotel with £2500 for shopping and a Caribbean holiday for four as well as the Fiat 500. Don’t worry though, if you are already a money player, you also get entered into the draw as every time you deposit money will count as an entry into whichever stage of the promotion is being played.

This online bingo site also offers a 100% cash match on sign up for first time players, up to a maximum of £100 so everyone really is a winner.

Online bingo operator goes with Microgaming

Tuesday, July 15th, 2008

Bingo online games developer Microgaming has signed with new bingo online operator Bingo on the Box.com to supply 90 and 75 ball bingo online software.

Bingo on the Box plans to augment its online bingo games offerings with a large range of progressive slots and video poker games, including roulette, blackjack, 5 reel slots and pub fruit machine games.

Julian Morel of Bingoonthebox.com said of the deal: “Going with Microgaming software was an obvious choice. As a new bingo brand it is important for us to stand out through best of breed software, innovation and differentiation.”

Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgever commented: “We are delighted to be working with Bingo on the Box to bring bingo players a truly revolutionary gaming experience. Research shows that 80 percent of players primarily play bingo for the entertainment value and we think this new site has entertainment appeal in spades.

What’s more 60 percent of players will try slots. We have no doubt Bingo on the Box will prove a big hit in the industry and we look forward to a long and fruitful partnership.”
