Bingo Jackpot Sharing

Tuesday, November 11th, 2008

There are many people who want to try gambling but don’t have the card skills for it.

Fortunately, with the help of the Internet, online bingo is now more accessible.  From the bingo community halls to online bingo websites, bingo is now available 24/7.  Bingo is a very easy game to play, and people of all ages can play it.  Although bingo is mostly a pastime, online bingo sites are now offering fantastic cash prizes to its customers.

There are also progressive slot jackpots which enable players to target higher prizes if previous ones were won.  Since bingo is a social game, some players agree to share their jackpot.

Bingo Jackpot sharing is the latest strategy today in the recent boom of online bingo.

Pros of Bingo Sharing

In online bingo sites, a 90 ball bingo game has three winners.  The bingo jackpot winner is the first player to cover all the numbers in their card.  The second prize goes to the player who marks the first line, and the third is the one who marks 2 lines.  Bingo can be a competitive game, and you have to be fast to win the jackpot.  To enable the process of sharing a Bingo Jackpot , a group of players must agree to split the jackpot if any of them wins.

This sounds like a fair strategy as bingo involves a good amount of luck.  If you are with a group, it increases the probability of winning a Bingo Jackpot.

Cons of Bingo Jackpot Sharing

Although this sounds like a good plan, it can easily turn for the worse.  First and foremost, online bingo players don’t generally know each other.  Unless you and your friends have agreed to play at a specific online bingo site and try your luck, the agreement is always in danger of being broken.

Apart from that, as online bingo players come from all locations they are also difficult to trace in case of any disagreements.  In many cases, some bingo players don’t deliver what they promise.

It’s very difficult to make someone keep their word, especially if you just met them in a bingo chat room within the online bingo site.  In other cases, a player funds their partner’s account but ends up buying the winning ticket and getting none of the share because their partner refuses to give any of their bingo winnings away..

Players should not form partnerships with others that they barely know.  Money can get in between friendships, what more of people you have just met online?  Players should learn to expect and deal with losses.  After all, once you’re playing with money, even a harmless bingo game can be risky.

Online Bingo a new craze

Monday, November 10th, 2008

If you’re looking for something new to distract yourself while online, bingo is now available in the Internet.  Online bingo sites can now be found all over the Internet.  The recent boom in bingo games has certainly caught the attention of big gambling networks, and more bookmakers are now offering them.

Bingo has been present online for a long time now, but it’s overshadowed by online casino games such as poker and blackjack.  But now, bingo has become a popular alternative.  Online bingo is considerably  cheaper than playing poker and casino games plus, it’s also a very easy game to play.  You don’t need any experience or get intimidated by veterans during the game.

Country Fairs to Internet Bingo

Bingo started out in country fairs.  At that time, it was called beano because beans were used to mark the cards of the players.  The numbers were written on discs and were drawn from cigar boxes.  Gradually, the game has changed to what it is today.  From community halls to land based bingo clubs, it is now being offered online though the help of technology.  Bingo players can now enjoy a online bingo game in the comforts of their home.

A lot of the online bingo sites are operated by United Kingdom bookmakers.  Fortunately, online, you have to be 18 years old and above to play the game of bingo.  Players can either play free bingo or for real money to be in with a chance to win big jackpots, and playing online is fairly easy as all you have to do is to register and buy your bingo tickets.  Some of the sites even allow players to pre-purchase bingo cards, which will be automatically played even though they are not logged in.  This also allows players to budget their money.

Online Bingo Perks

Online bingo sites also have bonuses like any other online casino.  They also feature other games such as scratch cards and chat games and slot machines.  They host jackpot games on a specific date and time where players will have the chance to win one thousand to ten thousand pounds.  Players will also have the chance to meet other players during the game as these chat boxes enable players to interact with each other.

Unlike poker games, the atmosphere is more casual and relaxed, but it can also be competitive, especially when everyone’s eyeing for the jackpot.  You have to keep your eyes open and make sure to mark your card.

All in all, bingo is a good pastime.  Plus, bingo cards are relatively cheap, and you don’t need to be an expert to win.

UK Peers of the Realm tell France they are not amused

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

The news from the British Parliament’s House of Lords has brought into sharp relief French protectionist attitudes in maintaining its state-run gambling monopoly.

UK-based online bingo games operators and online bingo players alike will be heartened by the general dissatisfaction expressed by the nation’s peers over what they say is an unfair policy penalizing those merely seeking to access the French market under European Union Treaty terms.

One Lord James pointed out that the penalty for downloading child pornography was the same in France as for making a small bet with a British bookie.

Lord Davies claimed French policy does not defend the French consumer (the usual excuse given for state-run gambling monopolies), but only protects French state gambling monopoly.

“The European Commission has made it clear that the French law is not acceptable within the framework of the European Community, and as a consequence we have no intention of following that atrocious example,” Lord Davies said.

Bingo Street, a popular online bingo portal says: Here, Here! Play bingo online in France! Here, here! What, What! No British online bingo halls in France! Disgrace! Battle of Agincourt! Hmmph! Here, here! I resign! . . . chortle, chortle chortle, . . .
