Jim Ryan, an online gaming industry executive who has held previous positions with St Minver, Excapsa and Cryptologic is to take over from outgoing PartyGaming CEO Mitch Garber who is leaving the company later this year.
PartyGaming operates high profile online bingo hall PartyBingo while Ryan’s previous employer CryptoLogic is a known online bingo games software developer and provider.

Ryan brings twenty-two years of experience in the online gaming and technology industry. It is expected that PartyGaming will continue to promote its bingo online presence under its future new CEO.

“Jim’s experience,… will be a powerful combination in driving the company forward and continuing to enhance the value and appeal of PartyGaming’s brands and gaming products,” said current PartyGaming non-executive chairman Michael Jackson on the appointment.

Ryan said: “I am hugely excited by the scale of the opportunity and with the support of PartyGaming’ s board and management team, I am confident we have an exciting and prosperous future.”

888.com’s strategy of consolidation through partnerships took another step forward with the signing of a third partnership deal within the month.

The company has signed a strategic deal with UK-based online gaming content provider Electracade. Electracade boasts over 100 different games including sports betting, casinos scratch-cards and online bingo. These games will now be made available to 888.com as part of the partnership deal.
