Wink Bingo Advert Banned

So have you heard about the Nurse that plays Bingo to the detriment of her patients . Well neither have we . The ASA – that is the Advertising Standards Authority banned the latest advertisement from the UK  Online Bingo Room Wink Bingo as it decided that the video was portraying this honourable profession in a disreputable light .

Our own feeling here at Eyes Down Bingo after having seen a preview of the advertisment was that it was a very tongue in cheek advert. It was more about the cheeky sassy nature of the popular UK bingo site and in no way did we think that the advert denigrated anybody including the honourable nursing profession.

Obviously the powers that be at the ASA do not share either that opinion or our sense of humour.We look forward to seeing the next Wink Bingo advertisement.
