A disabled bingo player from Birmingham has caused an uproar at his local bingo club.
Gerard Merry who has Cerebral Palsy is the player in question, has been barred by his local bingo club for raucous behaviour that has been going on for some time.
Wolf Whistling Legs 11 Causes Issues
According to reports every time the bingo caller at the BJs Bingo Hall called out Legs 11, Gerard would let rip a piercing wolf-whistle.
According to media reports, Gerard had been spoken to about the wolf whistle by fellow bingo players but carried on letting rip when the number 11 came up.
Considering that the man goes to the Bingo Hall on average of 4 times a week with his Church group and that he had been spoken to re this issue by fellow players, we are wondering why it has taken so long to bar him.
He apparently states that it is all of a bit of banter and that everyone whistles when 11 comes up, but there is whistling, and then there is whistling.
Even his Mother is supportive of the action that the bingo hall has taken. According to the Media reports, when staff at the Bingo Hall asked him to leave he became abusive.
That is when they called the Police who then escorted the poor sod from the premises.
What To Do After The Bingo Ban
Gerard is now at a loose end, according to him the Bingo Hall was his life as he does not enjoy pubs and the ban has now affected his confidence.
We do feel a bit sorry for the bingo player, but he should have listened when he was spoken to by fellow bingo players.
Hopefully, this will have taught him a lesson, and BJs Bingo Hall will at some stage allow him back in.
