Over the last couple of years, we have seen many changes in bonuses offered by online bingo brands. These changes have been attributed to changes in the tax levied against bingo site operators.
Just recently Dragonfish bingo sites dropped their minimum withdrawal amount to £5 at some bingo brands and recently we heard that we could soon see a bonus opt-out coming to Dragonfish bingo sites!
We’ve often suggested that this be implemented and available to players because it would then mean you aren’t bound by any wagering requirements.
Bingo Bonuses at Dragonfish
Currently, you aren’t able to opt out of receiving bonuses when you make a deposit with any Dragonfish bingo site. For example, if they offer a 300% welcome bonus on an initial deposit, it is automatically added if you make a deposit of £10 or more.
The only way to avoid receiving the bonus, and the associated wagering requirements at the moment, is to deposit less than the minimum required to activate the bonus. Even then, this will only work if the minimum required is £10.
Rumour has it that they have recently been testing this new option at a couple of bingo sites and we could see it rolled out at all Dragonfish bingo sites in the not too distant future!
Opting Out Of Dragonfish Bingo Bonuses
The bonus opt-out feature will be seen in the cashier, just below where you choose the value of your deposit and enter your cards CCV and any promotion codes.
It will be a tick box, so the responsibility will be yours to check the box otherwise any bonus will be automatically credited as it would usually.
As an extra level of checking, another pop-up box will appear before the deposit is complete, and it will ask you to confirm that you wish to proceed without the bonus.
So why would you opt out of a bonus? The main reason would be that there are then no wagering requirements and that all winnings generated from cash are paid in cash and therefore available for withdrawal immediately.
Whilst the cash bonus may not appeal to you, you will still be eligible for free spins and other bonuses. We look forward to the implementation of this feature!
