Wink Bingo - Online Bingo Review

Friday, March 28th, 2008

So its Friday night and whats a girl supposed to do if she hasnt got a date . We decided to give Wink Bingo one of the latest Bingo rooms to appear a run for its money and we want to share the results with you.

The Sign Up process was relatively normal with all sorts of questions being asked . The one thing that you do need to do to qualify for the Free Money is register a credit or debit card with the Bingo Room

Once youre into the Bingo Room things do start perking up a little . Wink Bingo has one of the nicer layouts we have seen. My favourite sections isthe My Points section where you see the Competitions that they have . One of the competitions is winning a Private Chef for the evening . Ha now that would liven up a Friday night .

Another section immediately visible is the Hot Games area where you can find favourites like : QuickFire Lotto and Scratch Card Games . I didnt play those but went straight to the 90 Ball Bingo . You can play 75 Ball Bingo as well .

Wow is the word - as soon as you click on the Bingo a screen comes up giving you details of even more competitions they have . The 10K Club is a bingo game held on the 10th of every month with a gaurenteed jackpot of £10k . Sign me up for that one . You can buy your tickets in advance as well .

The Bingo caller has a lovely accent although we didnt really have much like the chat was good .While we were playing there was a Full House Winner who won £25 . Our one issue is that we think the Bingo Cards could have been a touch bigger .

We played 8 games of Bingo and when theres 1TG the little Icon flashes up making you all excited . We didnt win but had loads of fun with the roomies in the chat .The Flying Chicken when buying cards is Hysterical and bought 10 cards for a quid. Not bad value me thinks .

After the Bingo we had a go at HI LO and won a little . There is a wide range of games and it would take up the whole blog to go into everything . We must say that the Flying Chicken and running cows across the screen are very funny.

Give Wink Bingo a go and we promise that you wont be disappointed .

Have a Wonderful weekend and GL with the Bingo

UK land-based bingo is all abuzz over what may be the world’s biggest bingo win after a Hamilton woman landed £1.2 million at her local club.

Hamilton mum Soraya Lowell called a full house while playing at the Club 3000 bingo hall in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, and won the National Bingo Game’s Platinum Jackpot.

Lowell immediately said she would be splitting her winnings with her bingo partner Agnes O’Neill. In a statement to the Daily Record she said: “We always share whatever either of us wins and this time will be no different.”

Soraya’s win of £1,167,795, tops the previous bingo record win of £1.1million by Christine Bradfield last January.

Despite a troubled time for land-based bingo clubs with many patrons turning to online bingo games and online bingo halls as an alternative, the latest huge win should provide a boost for an industry still reeling from a recently imposed smoking ban and double taxation.
