Ontario Bingo Sites — The Regulated List

Ontario has 83 legal gambling sites. Exactly three of them offer bingo.

Every Regulated Bingo Site in Ontario

All three carry the Bingo category in iGaming Ontario's own directory.

How Ontario's Market Actually Works

Ontario opened a regulated online gambling market on 4 April 2022. It is the first province in Canada to let private operators compete rather than run everything through a government monopoly.

Two bodies are involved, and the split confuses people:

  • The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) registers operators and enforces the standards.
  • iGaming Ontario (iGO) holds the commercial operating agreement with each registered operator.

A site needs both to be legal. If a room has neither, it is operating outside the Ontario framework no matter what licence it advertises from Malta or Curacao.

OLG.ca sits outside this entirely. The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation runs its own site under provincial conduct and management, so it does not need an iGO agreement. Its bingo offering is scratch-style instant tickets rather than live bingo rooms, and the eBingo you may have played is in OLG's land-based Charitable Bingo and Gaming Centres.

Why only three bingo sites?

Bingo is a community product. It needs chat hosts, scheduled games and enough players in a room at once to make a prize pot worth winning. That is expensive to build and hard to fill in a single province.

Notably, two of the three come from Ontario's own charitable bingo sector. Delta has run halls for over half a century, and Casino Time is tied to ten charitable gaming venues. They had the players and the licences already.

Sites You Will See Recommended Elsewhere

Two things worth knowing, because a lot of Canadian bingo pages get them wrong.

PlayOJO is properly registered in Ontario, and its Ontario terms do mention bingo products. But iGaming Ontario lists it under Casino only, not Bingo. Most articles calling it "Ontario's only regulated bingo site" appear to be describing playojo.com, the UK site, which has a large bingo operation. That is a different product in a different market. Check playojo.ca yourself before believing either version.

Offshore rooms — the familiar names that have taken Canadian dollars for years — are not registered in Ontario. Whatever their licence says, they are outside the provincial framework, which means no iGO player protections, no Ontario dispute route, and no guarantee on your deposits.

We would rather send you to three regulated rooms than thirty unregulated ones.

Bingo Games at Ontario Casino Sites

Three sites run proper bingo rooms. But bingo-shaped games are far more widely available, and if what you want is dabbing numbers rather than a chat room, they are worth knowing about.

Slingo

Slingo is a bingo and slots hybrid: a five-by-five bingo grid with a slot reel underneath. It is the most common bingo-adjacent format in the regulated market.

Slingo is owned by Gaming Realms, whose subsidiary Alchemybet was granted an AGCO supplier registration in March 2022, before the market even opened, specifically to bring Slingo Originals to Ontario operators. That is why Slingo titles turn up in so many Ontario casino lobbies. Our Slingo guide explains how the game actually plays.

Video and instant bingo

These are single-player RNG games. You get a bingo card, the numbers are drawn instantly, and you are playing against a paytable rather than a room full of people. Several casino lobbies carry four or five of them alongside the slots.

What you do not get

None of this is real bingo in the sense most players mean. There is no scheduled game, no chat host, no shared prize pot growing as more players buy in, and no community. If that is what you are after, you are back to the three rooms at the top of this page.

One change worth knowing about: in June 2026 Pragmatic Play announced it is winding down its bingo vertical, along with sportsbook and virtual sports, to concentrate on slots, live casino, crash and RNG. It is a phased exit, but it means one of the larger bingo content suppliers is on its way out of the category.

Paying In and Cashing Out

Interac is the home-grown option and the one most Ontario players use.

Ontario Bingo FAQs

How many regulated bingo sites are there in Ontario?
Three. Betty, Casino Time and Delta Casino are the only sites carrying the Bingo category in iGaming Ontario's directory, out of 83 regulated gambling websites in the province.
How old do I have to be to play bingo online in Ontario?
Nineteen. You also have to be physically located in Ontario, and sites verify this before letting you play.
Is OLG.ca a regulated bingo site?
OLG.ca is legal, but it sits outside the iGaming Ontario framework because the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation runs it under provincial conduct and management. Its bingo is scratch-style instant tickets rather than live bingo rooms.
Can I play at an offshore bingo site from Ontario?
Offshore rooms are not registered with the AGCO and have no operating agreement with iGaming Ontario. That means no provincial player protections, no Ontario dispute route, and no guarantee your deposit is held safely.
Do Ontario casino sites have bingo games?
Many carry bingo-shaped games rather than bingo rooms. Slingo, a bingo and slots hybrid, is widespread because its owner Gaming Realms has held an Ontario supplier registration since March 2022. Video and instant bingo titles are common too. What you do not get is a scheduled room with a chat host and a shared prize pot.
How do I check whether a site is really regulated?
Look it up in the iGaming Ontario directory, which lists every registered operator and site and is updated whenever a new site goes live. If it is not there, it is not regulated in Ontario.
